Bush attacks Porn Industry

http://www.wired.com/news/culture/se...?tw=wn_index_2

I tell ya, bush is the most ignorant President in a long time. He better stay away from porn, he will have a whole new set of "issues" on his hands

I know Pollitical Debate FTL but seriously, this guy has to be the biggest idiot to ever grace the Oval Office. He is so out of touch with the people that he goes off on tangents with all sorts of things. Nothing like forcing your own views and the views of the church on the people - way to go!!1

I think it's been establish long ago that Bush is an idiot.

Look at the polls. He's pretty much left with the crazy nut job approval.

It's funny that he says that. I read that the porn industry is the single biggest source of taxable revenue in the US, via the internet and the adult film industry. Taxes are what we use to pay politicians, dontcha know.

He probably doesn't remember what taxes are, since he was probably high as a kite when he learned it at Yale.

Its a fact though ever since Porn was acessible to everyone.. somewhere during Ronald Reagans term (some kind of freedom of speech issue).... that more child melisters, and rapists came about.

And it's a fact that if you allow the government to eliminate pornography, you're opening up pandora's box for freedom of speech limitations. If we allow this to happen, other facets will fall eventually, much like the guy in the article said.

Anyone ever see or read "Animal Farm"? The slow erosion of individual liberties...

I loved animal farm. I remember reading it in 9th grade and being one of two kids in the class who actually understood the satire and politics involved in it while everyone else thought it was a gay story about farm animals. Absolutely great book that came before its time. Orwell was a very insightful man. I definitely see some parallels between the book and the current administration sadly.

Even more scary are the parallels between modern times and 1984.

Iraq = Airstrip 1

A nice endless war to keep people scared.

The Patriot Act.

Wow, Infernus, you're just batting 0-2 today. No gay marriage, no more porn (gay or straight). Next they'll be shuffling you off to a re-education camp.
