3DMark03 Scores?

This thing sure is a beast!

I'm getting a score of around 1,550.

Specs:
xp2100+ @ 1.9ghz
gf4 ti4400 @ 315/620
512mb pc2700 ram (for sale!)
Epox 8k3a mobo
Audigy 2 Platinum
WD 80gb HD

nVidia also released some new drivers (42.68) that are supposed to boost scores... I'm going to install them and see, but if my game performance goes down out they go. I'll let you know. You can find them here: http://www.mister.de/modules.php?nam...rticle&sid=226

edit: 1791 with new drivers, in-game performance seems the same. I had a black translucent band through the upper part of my screen during the 2nd and 3rd tests though, going to see if it's a result of my OC and if other people get the same thing.

Seems like others are having the same problem. I haven't had this prob in ANY game though, so I guess it's ok.

I assume you have a 9700 pro to get that high of a score?


Did you know ATI pays Futuremark a 'subscription fee' so they can tweak their cards to look good when the benchmark is first released. nvidia used to but they stopped (probably because they have no money, lol). Just thought it was interesting.

There is no "minimal accepted score"... It's just a benchmark. I've seen some people get 100...

Egads, i finally realized how crappy my G4 420mx card is. well i knew it wasn't the greatest but i thought it would suffice. I can't even run the test.
my specs:

P4 2.4 533FBS 850e chipset
512 RDRAM pc 1066
Geforce4 420mx 64MB (was gonna upgrade regardless)
Soundblaster live (yes, had it for 4yrs now )
