It only takes one nuke though. One well placed nuke and you could put a LOT of hurt on your enemy. Besides, Japan knows first hand what a nuke does, and that was over 50 years ago. And the other half would have already retaliated en masse. The idea that we should just get it over with and blow up the entire middle east thus supposedly erasing the entire problem is a foolish one and sadly also one that too many Americans advocate. Like I said, I don't forsee anything large scale on the horizon for a long time, not from the middle east, not from North Korea, not from China or Russia. The only way something is going to happen is if we start it, thus causing a domino effect. Half the warhawks that continue to say we're on the cusp of a global conflict are just dickheads that still have a 13-year old's view on what war really is.

if anything starts that has a direct impact on the US (other than Irag and Afghanistan), it'll be North Korea or Mexico.korea for their "nuclear program" and mexico over the whole illegal immigrant deal. vicente isn't happy about the US putting troops on teh Us-Mexico border

It wont be WWIII, it'll be like a different version of the cold war with different rules as stated above.....just instead of everyone hating Russia, USA or Asia will be the hated ones.


Otherwise I really hope there will be no big war until i'm dead or when we settle on something else other than Earth.

Its funny.. The Liberals want to be Socialists and the Conservatives want to be God Fearing Capitalists (impossible).

We will be to divided to do anything after GWB is kicked out. I don't really like him anymore but you've got to hand it to him, when he wants to do something he damn well does it. We'll have a democratic Prez next and we will try to be friendly to the rest of the world.. and all hippy-ish.

So I vote no WW3, only cause the wanna be socialists want to spoil it. (Disclaimer) unless we are attacked first, then we'll be making country songs about kicking the bad guys asses and the statue of liberty shaking her fist and what not.
