Why? What is so bad about quicktime? How and when does it try to run when not asked. I know that every time I update it I have to go in and tell it that it can not start its ass up on start up; beyond that I have not had a problem with it.

It's not even installed on my computer, yet tries to run. How does it get worse than that?

What is the program you run to kill it? Does it use up system resources itself?

Strange, I've never had any problems with quicktime.

Even when I was using windows. In fact, my only problem when I was using windows would seem not to be quicktime itself, but the lack thereof.

Needless to say, it has only improved.

Quicktime is "ok" I have never had major problems with it, not my favorite app but not my least fav either
