Futurelooks has up a new preview from the Planetside beta. Here is a small taste:
Ever wonder what it would be like to play a game like Tribes 2 with 2000 or more players in a large planetary setting? Well look no further! Sony Online Entertainment just removed their NDA (non-discloser agreement) from their exclusive Beta for this highly anticipated First Person Shooter; so in other words, we can talk as much about this game as we want without getting into trouble!

With multiple servers, running large worlds of various terrains, Planetside is a unique type of Massive Multiplayer Online game. Just released from its NDA within their exclusive Beta testing group, and allowing it to go into a Public Beta, Planetside will rival various first person shooters like: Counter Strike, Tribes 2, and Battle Field 1942.
