GamingNinjas has released their review of PS on this Independence Day. It's not a long one compared to others, but you still might want to check it out. Here's a clip:

• The action is beautiful in its simplicity. A more-bigger, more-complicated version of Tribes, PlanetSide is a constant quest to take over bases and, from there, have a jump-off point to take over more bases. But it's elegant in its simplicty (and note the correct use of its and it's) and the strategy involved in putting together a squad and leading them against a base requires elements of strategy. For example, there are towers--mini-bases for those all-important spawns--scattered around the main bases. Do you try to capture a tower and clue in the bad guys that trouble's a'comin'? Or do you drop the whole squad on the base and pray really, really hard that you can take it before your squad gets wiped out?
