Deliverer Variants and the Fury

Sporkfire has just posted over on the official forums regarding 4 total new vehicles coming soon to Planetside. Here are some snippets:

New vehicular variants are in development, starting with Empire-specific Deliverers and the Fury ATV.

Each Empire-specific Deliverer variant swaps out the Deliverer's 20mm Chainguns with different weaponry to enhance each unique arsenal. The original Deliverer will maintain a higher top speed and better handling characteristics. The original Deliverer and the Empire-specific variants will use the same timer at vehicle terminals. So, when a driver purchases one, it will be five minutes before they may purchase either again.

All Empires gain access to the Fury, an ATV equipped with the Hellfire Rocket Launcher. The Hellfire is a fixed-forward firing rocket, so aiming it is a matter of steering the Fury until the reticule is over the target. Although it cannot pivot from side to side, the Hellfire can aim up or down. The Fury remains as fragile as its ATV brothers, but packs powerful damage against armored targets. The soldier who makes use of effective evasive maneuvers while closing in for a rapid strike will be a solid opponent in the field.
