Help PlanetSide set the world record for the largest number of people ever gathered for first-person action and warfare. For over a year, PlanetSide has shattered records by hosting thousands of combatants locked in a 3 way persistent conflict for domination of the Planet Auraxis. We continue to do this every day. Now, it�s time to make the books.
Tomorrow, July 3, 2004, join us Cyssor�s capitol of Gunuku on the Emerald server where the Empires will collide once again in PlanetSide�s global war. The PlanetSide team will be present starting at 2:30 PM Pacific Daylight time to chronicle this moment in PlanetSide�s history.

PlanetSide prides itself on being a completely player driven battlefield and tomorrow will be no different. We are asking Outfit leaders to establish their footholds on Cyssor for the event and to let enemy Empires to stake their own claim, allowing them a complete set of linked facilities on the Cyssor grounds.
Is this a lot to ask? Heck yea, but this community has done bigger things in the past and can pull this off to make the world know where the largest battles really occur.
We will be accepting screenshots of the event for publication as well, for publishing to our web site next week. Please send your shots to [email protected]
Please send your screenshots according to these guidelines:

• Your primary character's name
• A caption that sets the scene and describes what's happening, and why it's of interest (be creative here!)
• Make sure the image is in .jpg format
• The image must be no more than 500k in size
• Use the highest graphical setting while playing for the best chance of being featured. Show off those effects!

I expect we�ll fill Cyssor, so in that event, it will be completely up to the players on what other continents to fight over. We�ll be accepting screenshots from any spillover events that occur as well and be stopping over to check those out as well.
