I don't know if any of you watch that gaming TV channel, called G4, but they have a show called cinematech where they just make movies of games and show them in a little 30 min. show. Well one of the recent episodes had a movie of planetside, lot of kool sceens. Showed a NC who had stolen a Vanu pistol shooting. Had a TR MAX just blowing the hell out of a lighting tank. But the bigest thing was it showed that MAX ability where they can sacrifice turn radius for speed. It was moving FAST. I mean this MAX was just cruisin along. Check out your TV guides to see when Cinematech comes on if you have G4 TV. It was good to see the game without the grainyness of .mpg and lemme tell you, it looked niiice hehe.

all the clips you mentioned are gamespot movies. doesn't sound like anything new.

nice to see it getting some coverage tho.

Oh... THOSE videos. Heh. Those are old. And whoever was in that Lightening was an idiot. Light tanks survive on manuverability... sitting there and taking a beating isn't gonna work. As you may have noticed.

yeah the TR max grenading a lightning is definitely one of the movies.

same as the sprint.

i'll have to check about the NC with the VS gun. i remember it, but its a little fuzzy

It might be american only. I'm in california and the channel is based on the east coast of USA i believe. So ya most likely its american only. their site is g4tv.com if u wanna check em out.

I don't get G4TV either and I live in CA, so don't feel too bad. I do get ZDTV/TechTV though.

I heard that movie was simply a re-compilation of some old media. I hope so, because the graphics seemed pretty crappy. Stuff like guys "sliding" while walking, no leg movement at all on lateral moves, and the TR max seemed to hover over the ground when cresting the hill.

I'm excited about the game... Just hope the video referenced doesn't portray the current state of the product.
