Rite this started on Saturday morning and is really annoying me - I have posted in the offical Forum E-mailed them and even tryed the chat and so far no "suggestion" has helped
Basically i cannot connect to the login server - I load the launch pad fine and then press "PLAY" the ads run fine and then the game comes to a grinding halt. This happens time and time again - the most annoying thing though is after x number of attempts i can log in i managed it at 10:39 UK time today (tuesday) and also about 4 pm UK time on Sunday I run a ISDN connection through a router and firewall yet this has not effected my gaming since i first started playing. I have also tried connecting my PC direct to teh outsdie workld and the problem still went on!!! PLZ help SOE have been useless so far and I just wanna play Thks Fionex - TR - Werner

Fionex-
I have been having the a very similar error. And others have noted this as well on the SOE Tech forum. As of yet Tech Support does not know what the problem is, so they just tell everybody to turn off their firewall and anti-virus software. I've been playing with my setup for 2 months now and this problem just started within the past week. I have been able to log into and play twice in the past 5 days. Error occurs after selecting character on server and pressing play. Quicklaunching to a character from the launchpad also locks up the program. |

Hey I really don't mean to necro a thread from 8 years ago haha, but it seems unresolved here so just in case anyone else had the same problem, check your pc's clock and bios clock and make sure they're set correctly.
Simple solution but it worked for me, after ignoring the time being off and playing with router and tcp / udp settings for the past 2 days.... derp must have something to do with the SSL certificate the launcher uses to verify. |
