The designers must of watched Battlestar Galactica. The VS aircraft looks like a cylon raider. What a ripoff lol.

The Galactica designers must have watched The Phantom Menace, the Raider design looks like the droid fighters from that movie. What a rip off lol.

Anyway, from the concept designs, I definitely think they picked the right one.

And Battlestar Galactica "ripped it off" from the Batwing. How far back do you want to go?

It's called "inspired by" and every tv show, movie, and especially video game does it. Personally I'm glad it's vaguely similar to the cylon raider. Before I ever saw it, I was hoping it would look something like that.
