i was on youtube the other day looking for the most viewed videos on planetside and i was only able to find a few that had more then a 100k hits.

if this garbage can get that many views, then we should be able to come up with something that could get a million views. we need youtube gold for planetside.

You can take years to animate/film/CGI a masterpiece into Youtube and get 50k views, or you can unprofessionally record something incredibly retarded with a crappy camera phone that lasts only 30 seconds and find your self a millionaire (both in views and through ads) within a month.

Or you could just sell out to tweenage girls. That's apparently the winning game plan and there's never a shortage of them.

it's exposure for the game, I don't see the need to hate on the Yogscast guys. Their Minecraft stuff is indeed hilarious, and did a lot to make that game the success it was. Bottom line, they get views, lots of 'em.

TB is the guy that led the charge to dumb this game(PS) down to the lowest common denominator,the slow mess(rexoside) that PS became which then resulted in even more ppl leaving in droves.

here is a prime reason that I wish the old PS forums still existed,then I could link all the silly crap this guy used to say and you would see what I am talking about.

And yet merely by mentioning it in a sentence he draws more attention to Planetside 2 than you could probably manage in a year.

Edit: It's probably worth investing some time in answering people's questions in the comments section of the Yogscast video. There'll be a lot of potential players watching/reading.

More than half a million subs on 2 different channels? Yeah, he's a heavyweight. I don't give a shit what he did to get there, he gets views, and that's what matters at the moment.
