Casual gamers? - Page 2

I've seen a lot of marketing papers and lectures categorize some as "casual hardcore." These are the folks who love playing the most awesome games but due to work/family/life obligations can't put in 40+ hours a week. As one of those people myself, I can assure you the game will have stuff to do for everyone.

That is awesome to hear. But what do you mean you can't put up 40+ hours a week? Your getting to work on it and play Planetside 2. Your living the dream man.

My guess is that casuals will likely be in vehicles if they are not in a soldier fight.

Commanders will be able to make the missions for the casuals to get extra XP. So they'll be the masses of cannon fodder and grunts to make the push while organized groups can bolster them with teamwork and coordination.

Sounds like the 1% vs the 99% and I don't like it. It's too unequal.

I know i personally cant stand only getting to play Planetside for an hour or less. It typically feels like i got nothing accomplished. But casuals will probably get more than enough out of an hour of planetside. Instant Action is a great way to get right into the fight when it doesn't send you to the middle of nowhere.

Though i will miss Sancs and the HART shuttle. I wish they wouldn't remove them.
