Can you Trial it?

I've never tried Planetside before, but I heard about the new mmo coming out so thought I'd try the original, only to see what it's like, I was wondering though whether there's a trial period for it, as I can't seem to find one, so I'm assuming there isn't?

I think they got rid of the free trial period, but if you buy the game it comes with a free month.

Im pretty sure any purchase of the game comes with the expansion now. Its 20 bucks so why not give it a shot? Its a good game, despite its age. Jus thave to find a good fight and someone who can help teach you the ropes.

They got rid of the trial because of hackers sadly.

The thing is, this is an old game so you're not going to get everything handed to you on a plate. Just prepare for that.

However, the first time you've involved in a big battle is pretty bloody magical.

I just played again today for the first time in about seven or eight years... it was a lot of fun surprisingly. I guess it is not peak time, but even so I got into some fights (and got my butt handed to me) and all it did was get me even more excited for PS2!
