I have watched all the videos and i have seen all the latest images regarding planetside 2 , how ever what i have mentioned in this comment i have not seen anything that i have mentioned in this thread , please redirect me and tell or show me anything relating to what i have mentioned because if i'm missing something i would like to see it , we have not seen any images/videos that i have mentioned , oh i also forgot , we have seen the TR HA weapon the MCG so where is the NC JH and the VS Lasher and the maelstrom ?

That's what you call a nice touch? Doesn't look very soldier-ish to me. Any second he will take his armor off and say: "I didn't want to be a soldier anyway ... I wanted to be a lumberjack. Leaping from tree to tree as they float down the mighty rivers of Hossin ..."

I think it accentuates the fact that they're a rag-tag group that has to salvage a lot of what they use. The flannel shirt is just a great example of how they have to take what they can get.

There is something seriously wrong with the background story then. Given the chance to colonize a new planet and retrive precious resources, the Terran gouvernment launches a space programm that must cost a fortune. Sure you'll need some (well trained) workers to do the more dirty work on such a campaign, but just as many scientists and engineers. But you don't send random ragtag bums from earth on such a mission. Besides I think that the population would have split a bit more even across the 3 empires and not: all soldiers remain TR, scientists go VS and NC is the puny rest.
