I like the quad, but...

I know the quad is already in the can, but let's be honest: you could buy one today that looks exactly the same as what they're riding hundreds of years in the future. Wouldn't it be nice to have something a little more futuristic? Something still realistic but a little more up-to-date? The design guys have to have seen the Tesseract by now...how cool would it be to have one of those? They couldn't use the actual design, of course, but something similar could surely be put together.

What makes it less equipped for off-roading than a dirtbike? The tires? Put some tires with more tread on it, beef it up a bit and you're good to go.

That thing is tiny, has pathetic wheels that aren't going to do a thing even if you did change the tires and it's ugly as hell.. Also, where the hell do you put anything? There's no racks on it for storage. You can't put guns on it without racks either. Not built for military at all.

THIS is a military quad bike.



I really don't see what there is to change about it to make it more "futurey", it's for towing small loads where large vehicles can't go or getting a single person from a to b quickly. That's all. The Tesseract is the equivalent of sports utility vehicles that masquerade as offroad vehicles when in fact the target market is soccer moms. It's like Razer products, it's not made to be good, it's made to look a certain way to market it to a certain audience that wants things to look (opinion) utterly stupid.

If transport trucks have become the Sunderer, the ATV would be even boxier than the ones we have today.
