"Hunt down the Devs"

After those "MUSIC SUX! CHANGE OR NO BUY!" and "TROLOLOLOL PLANTFRONTZ2 LUL" threads that popped up today, I thought about opening a thread with some actual, maybe even constructive, discussion.

So I had this idea pop in my head, seeing as the devs are really close with us, the community, that it'd be nice if they'd join us now and then during the game.

Maybe not during beta, because bugfixing, but later during retail.

Would also be nice to get some kind of merit when you kill one of then, cause I'd totally go for "Higby Hunter Platinum".

I'm not saying that if they play they should always play with their "known aliases", but kinda like, and I know some of you will hate on this, DICE does.

Play a game of BF3 and the chance is there to meet a DICE employee, knife him and you get a special dogtag, also has the added bonus that DICE employees have special weapons not available to the normal player that you can pick up with their kit, nothing overpower, just different.

Not saying PS2 has to do it just like that, but something like that would be pretty neat.

I wasn't serious about dev-specific merits, so (sadly) no "Higby Hunter" or "Brewko Buster", just an all encompassing "Dev Destroyer".

I have to agree with that, it cant be fun to play when 500+ people have singled you out (and people prly will) and are hunting you in earnest.

You all act as if none of them would ever think change the name of their account whenever they happen to "accidentally" sneeze on the mod powers command prompts.

Also having some sort of reward for capturing a control point or a base w/ one of them, or saving one of their asses or vice versa would be just as awesome as getting to do all the murderings.

Like can you imagine getting shot up by a MAX and in that half second that you were about to die it gets run over by a MBT and you see a popup reward message saying you just got saved by T-Ray? It would be awesome just by itself, but having a Dev do it should message the player.
