Who are you and who do you hate?

This is an experiment, the purpose of which I won't reveal straight away.

The statistics of what faction you are will be revealed once the game launches, so that's irrelevant.

Posts with polls about your second choice end up distorted by players who want to show how loyal they are by setting their 2nd choice as their 1st.

So. Let's keep it simple. Which faction are you going to be? And which faction do you dislike the most?

I had thought to see NC players disliking TR the most and vice versa, but this only seems to be true for the TR. I had also thought that VS would have a more equal distribution of which faction they dislike the most, but similar to the TR they also seem to dislike the NC the most.

Ever since I started paying attention to this game, I always felt that NC and TR were the only real rivals, and that the VS had simply been thrown into the mix. It seems that I was wrong, and that the only thing that is really conclusive from these statistics is that NC is the most hated faction overall and that the TR is the least hated.

I have been Vanu and a member of Xen of Onslaught for the last 9 years. I bleed XoO and I bleed the Purple and Teal.

I have to say though...I hate the Elmo's more than the Smurfs. I can respect a group of individuals who can hit hard and need to make their shots count to be effective. I cannot however...Ever respect a group that relies on pure shit-luck of pathetic pea-shooters that do hardly any damage on their own...But just spray enough ammo to kill someone.

What if I hate them both equally? Like if you have two children and you love them each equally in their own unique way. But in this case theyre both two shitheads and you hate their guts equally in their own unique way?

TR may want to oppress me, but Vanu want to obliterate my race because they think they've evolved to a higher life form.

That kind of zealotry cannot be reasoned with or out-maneuvered politically, or even overthrown in a coup.

Also, I still carry a grudge against Magrider drivers. I've got more bumper-height bruises than I can count, even after respawn...

As a mentally superior, enlightened, good looking and yet shockingly humble VS player, i find both of the peasant factions equally distasteful.

However, the NC are cute in a sort of girly way. So i don't hate them, rather find them amusing. Cute little guys.

I would think because you have less damage it takes more skill to aim! And use the weapon

Heavy hitters with 30 rounds is enough to spray and pray and get a good couple kills, but if you don't do much damage you have to make every shot count!

NC because of the wall humping, plasma spamming, tower whoring, triple shotgun, 'elite' players/gameplay they seemed to attract/encourage on Werner. The TR I just pitied as they were the worst organised side ever on Werner till merge.
