What i am waiting for is a video that shows the grand workings of good co-ordination and teamwork.
Example: *A battle raging in a tower or small base.* *Shows a squad of soldiers holding out against a larger force.* *Zooms out to show a commander looking at a tactical map, kind of like the Endwar trailer* *Then you hear the squad leader start talking* SL: "This is delta 1-5, we are at gird Romeo, Papa, 2-6, we need immediate air support asap." *Shows the commander scroll the map to show a symbol of an aircraft, as he selects it and gives them a waypoint, it zooms in to show the aircraft flying over the terrain.* Aircraft: "This is Eagle 6 to Delta 1-5, we are in bound to your position, ETA 1 minute." *Then an enemy aircraft group comes into range, and a air battle ensues* Aircraft: "This is Eagle 6, all bombers (air to ground aircraft) break off and continue towards the target, we will hold them off.* *Shows the bombers breaking off to continue to the enemy force.* SL: This is Delta 1-5, where the h**l is our air support, we can't hold for much longer!" *The view looks up to see silhouettes in the distance* Aircraft: "This is Eagle 6, commencing strafing run" *Enemy force dies after some fighting, show something at the end to show the battle was won, like zooming back to the commanders map to show that the zone is now green for friendly but showing hundreds of enemies closing in from all sides, to show that the battle is never over or something like that* Just a quick thought of something cool, not too well thought out, but would be cool to see something like this, something that shows the full tactics of the game. |
