weird walking animations?

in the video Planetbreak the walking animations are way wrong, they slide all over the place... Im hoping thats just in the beta... is it? or will the walking always be weird?

It's just unoptimized animations, although people do seem to strafe way to damn fast.

I think one of those clips is very old (has vanu with punisher) and the sliding thing has been fixed/greatly improved since then.

What exactly is wrong with a Vanu soldier having a Punisher? It's a common pool weapon with some pretty cool capabilities. I think it'll be a fairly popular weapon in all three empires.

ya definetly. it can lay down nice fire and fire rocklet rounds which will make it definetly a sidearm for me. run into a max well youre sheet outta luck but maybe a few rocklets/ap ammo will kill it if the armor is low enough.

many many things are unoptimized. look at the explosions. THERE ARE NONE!

That is unusual.. That you can strafe with out the animation actually moving the legs in motion.. i dunno just sounds kinda glitchy to me... :\
