ETA on "Wall Of Data"?

Hey all,

Does anyone (especially the devs) have any idea when they will be making their data streams for PlanetSide2 available?

I for one would love to start playing with the data and get working on some apps/website integration with it.

I imagine it might be available at some stage of beta. probably after the NDA lifts.

The only official thing that I've heard is "will be available at launch".

Of course people are using it already to make that iOS/Droid companion app (they're outsourcing that project as I recall). So I'm hoping it will be available sooner than launch. Would be nice just to get a peek at what APIs will be there, so people can start thinking about uses for it.

In Higgby's latest interview he did say that a company was being outsourced to create the app. That was also when they brought up the possibility that it might be a pay for app.

They also said that the data being used to make the app relevant would be available to other players outside the app, in order to, for example, make apps for their Blackberries (if they really wanted to).

At the very least the data will be available on launch (even if the app isn't for whatever reason, though it probably will be), and it may be available as early as late beta (unlikely if they plan on scrapping the data).
