What will you miss the most from PS1?

My list so far. I'm sure a lot of these will fade in time (hopefully).

1. Sanctuary
2. AMS's
3. Lack of classes/old certification system
4. Advanced Hacking
5. PS1 style bases (and especially base walls)
6. PS1 vehicles and their difficulty to take out as infantry
7. Lack of too many lock-on weapons
8. Vehicle enter/exit animations
9. Lots of health
10. Subscription fee

Edit:

New ideas that I like:

1. Jet packs
2. More spawn places
3. Gun sights
4. Improved combat
5. New flight mechanics
6. Customization
7. Improved graphics
8. Night/day cycle and reintroduction of weather

Fixed that for you.

I really don't like the idea of "classes" and the new base styles. I also enjoyed how much you feared a vehicle as infantry in PS1. I liked the amount of health you had in the infantry armors and max suits. And I really don't like the idea of it being completely free. I think everyone will be in for a big surprise with that one (especially since we're talking about SOE here).

Don't see how F2P is going to kill Planetside 2 . A lot of FPS'ers in general have been looking something to move on from (BF3, CoD). Even with P2P games , you still are going to have hackers. Having a Sub for a game just limits on how many people can afford that every month. World Economy isn't doing so great.

Same here -

Developers are still trying to get F2P right but there's been a lot of progress. If Sony approaches F2P the right way it can only help the game.

jacking, i hope to the gods i get to jack vehicles at some point in ps2 future, it was my job and i did it well.

ill also miss the flail. i never used one, love to steal them, but im a huge arty fan.

phantasm, my vehicle of choice, idk if its in or not or if it will be, but its my baby, phanty wagon for life!!!

ant bombs. early does of ps1, you got a gal, got a fully charged ant, and dropped that thing like it wa a neutron bomb, OMG was it fun.

HART dropping. idk why, but i love the HART building.
