I find it unlikely in the extreme that anyone beta
testing the game in the next few months will be completely virginal to all things computer gaming. That is to say PS2 will be the very first computer game they'll have been involved in.
We're all going to be packing some baggage, likely to be either from MMOrpG's, small scale rotating map FPSers, or PS1.
It's not wocket science to assert that as a result we're all going to have expectations, some hype fueled, some desire fueled, some factually fueled.
PS2 will be whatever PS2 will be in its own right, if we are to be competent
testers attempting to check our baggage before we board the HART might be best?
If we can do it, not sure I'll be able to, but will try.
