in the future for fraps to get around this:

At the main interface check the box for monitor aero desktop (DWM)

This will allow you to record anything showing on your screen etc.

I use FRAPS. For me, if you go fullscreen on the live stream, it opens a separate pseudo-window as a flash application, and therefore FRAPS will recognize it as a fullscreen application. Same with youtube.

Had that box ticked but it still kept refusing to record it :/

I don't have the Windows Aero box checked and it still works for me. It may be a Windows 7 thing...do you have W7? Also, fraps displays on full-screen Youtube videos for me, and even iTunes, oddly enough. Does fraps work on fullscreen youtube for you?

I will need to try it some more with YouTube later today. Only if audio worked with Camstudio... It recorded the video OK but seemed kind of bad without the audio.

Thinking of it now maybe it would have been better than nothing at all, but pretty much figured someone else would cap it as well

Good to know that Hig's Aug10th stream isnt available anywhere. I was looking hard for it the other day. His Aug 9th TR recording was definitely his best so far though, loved seeing him play with randoms and actually do some squad movements.

For anyone who watched it live, did he do the same with VS the next day?

He first said that some guy in his stream chat claimed to be a SOE employee and told him to stop streaming. He pretty much dismissed it as a troll, and then BAM. Disconnected from PS2.

Oh this was a stream many weeks ago from the tech test, completely unrelated to any official Higby-streams.
