why can't i see my platoon memebers along side my squad ?

back in the original ps we had 10 players in yellow squad and we had the other 2 squads theat we're orange and purple squad displayed at the top of our screen , in the beta we are not able to see our full platoon members , only our squad members , I think this is awkward to navigate your full platoon and i personally think the old system was much better , so why the bloodyhell have they tampered with it and decided to make the lay out totally different when there was nothing at all with the original system
