So HEY! How u all doin? My interwebz name is OceanSky159 and since my zodiac sign is Cancer I want thing my own way.
So this is going to be a treath of me writing the bugs that need to be fixed my impressions of the game wanting things to be changed in art design and gameplay and all the shiz you can rea din one place.
This is just ranting and a following case : I give you a product you say VERYTHING you LIKE and DISLIKEbaout it without ANY rules and without worrying about the future or past and traditions and sence. Just what you like and don't like. THAT is what this post is
So from where do I start, probbaly from my feelings as in how the characters feel or wait, no I am starting with the factions and what I like about them
0. OVERALL - Both the medics and engineers tools look to me - way too big - if they move them lower and probably a little more to the right it will look cool but for now not. As I am mentioning beneath grenades - first coolest looking NC then Vanu and worst looking TR. Also jetpacks - I don;t like them that much but if I have to choose - coolest Vanu then TR and worst looking ones NC.
1. VANU - I play Vanu and have played Vanu almost all of the time here on planetside 2 beta. So waht I like about them is - overall there class sprites look the best as in not perfect as I want them but good enough I guess and by sprites looking overall good I don't mean the quality of them but how do they feel and about to say how the jetpack on the light looks or the medpack on the medic. The most badass looking one is the heavy assault - just makes you wanna start playing with him and never leave playing him since you'll know you'll look cool on the battlefield. Worst looking is the sniper - with his skinny body (the armor is too good for his body :P) and that AWLFUL looking helmet he looks just BAD. Moving on with weapons - starting with DA FUQ did we got sniper rifles that can loose more than 2.5 times of their damage at a sniper distance. The no falloff thing - we don't need it if we can't kill enemies 3 times less the distance than the no falloff thing would even have point of being a feature - what I am going on about with that is that the no falloff against cutting down damage trade off SUCKS. Also as a dude mentioned here on these forums I can agree with him that the projectile speed a probably a little bit too slow. OK now ligh and medic main carbine - the compact shit well they look AWLFUL as well - I like the heavy assaults and the medics gun sprites. Vehichles time - Schyte = WIN, MagRider = overall WIN (I like the VN and the NC and the TR heavy tanks) as in mechanics - the sprite I think the gaps between the frontal "teeth" are too big the tank needs to be more tighter and stiffer and feel more bufty not a flake with plasma cannon. Also Beamer pistol - I know that everything is in the technology theme but the pistol looks bad - only the fact I have been playing vanu and using it a little makes me even able to look at it. The vanu grenades - they are on second place - NC looking best then Vanu and TR ones looking worst. I think that I finally exsausted everything I wanted to say about the Vanu. The supressor looks idk on their weapons it looks cool but the flash supressor not that much
2. NEW CONGLOMERATE - OK so there weapons are THE coolest looking - especially the pistol thw GREAT mag shot - also they do TONS of damage - the infiltrator also is way cooler than the vanus but I can't decide between NC and TR infiltrator. Sniper rifle the bolt action nc14 - only that is a reason to join the NC along with their tank. Yeah so all of the classes exept the infiltrator look very bad - the heavy assault LMG looks also non-atractive the rocket launcher is fine. Thei tank is AWESOME - the Ravenger SUCKS 3rd place. First is schyte then mosquito - the musquito can even go to first place and last in the ravenger - too boxy for me. I think that i wanted to be short with this since I got tired after writing the Vanus one - TR next is probably also gonna be short but if I missed anything to compare with the other factions please say so. OH I remembered - yes the added front and side armor to the vanguard look pretty bad. Also their supressor looks SUPER cool on the sniper rifle but probably too long for the other weapons - I also don't like that much how it starts with a small diametar and gets bigger. Alittle cone shaped.
Sideonote here: It took me so many hours cause I write about the vanu go to youtube for some hours then wrote about the NC and same now I am probably gonna finish with the TR
3. TERRAN REPUBLIC - Ok these guys everyone knows thier cause sucks. Moving on - their sniper as mentioned above and by that I mean infiltrator class looks pretty awesome - also the sniper rifle and the LMG look BAD ASS in 3rd person and lame in 1st person. Vehickles - their prowler was it called AMAZING why didn't ANYONE though about giving a tank another gun for ALL THIS TIME. The mosquito after watching some gameplay because I don\t TR I see they have some round lines and are really fast AND GIVE YOU that GOTTA GO FAST feeling when in 1st person in the cockpit - they are pretty cool. The combat medic,engineer and light assault look bad their style of the models - also all of the TR weapons are ugly not gonna even talk about how ugly their granade is. ONly as I wrote the sniper rifle and LMG look good in 3rd person. And along with that the infiltrator and heavy assault look pretty bad ass themselfes. Also their suppresors are kinda cool.
