Gameplay: Ships and Nanites

First, I think ships in the water would be cool and we could create new facilities for ships. I only have general ideas. However my other idea is that engineers can use an item like the turret deployer and instead deploy things like platforms and breatworks using nanites. These can be destroyed by gunfire, things crashing into it, C4 etc. They can also be repaired and would be pretty expensive.
