The Ace Blueprint: Decoy Infrantryman
Life is alright when you're capping a control point with someone else. Lets be honest here, it can be downright comforting. Maybe it's been a long day of tough sleddin' and you could do with a case of Coors, the banquet beer. At least for now, he's got your back and you've got his. Life is alright. How does it get any better? When that enemy comes along and shoots the other guy in the brains instead of you. If I could just talk to the engineers for a moment: Men, how many cert points would you give to have a little buddy at your side while your back is turned to the world because you're there repairing the shield generator with your little gizmo at retard speed for the hundredth time all by your goddamn lonesome because apparently no one else has it high on their to-do list to stop all the goddamn enemy tanks and boots from stampeding through the door like a bunch of filthy children before suppertime? Maybe that buddy of yours just takes a few rounds. Maybe he's insubstantial and the lead travels right through him. Hopefully, he ain't neon blue like those ghosts out at Camp Waterson. Maybe, just maybe, he'll save your life. Last edited by Dreadbelch; 2012-09-20 at 04:30 AM. |

While you have a funny way of saying it, I like the idea. I'd spend 25 to deploy 1 with an ACE. I'd spend 75 after that to deploy a 2nd with the ACE, as well as having the option to choose to deploy infantry or MAX with left or right click.

Interesting idea, and I can see people whinign that they ripped it off from halo, but fuck the whiners, halo does not own the concept of decoys. Maybe instead of a holo gram it could be a fairly static target made of nanites?
