You could apply this to a number of things about this game.

Yeah Tray was on The Enclave's stream and he said point blank that underslung won't happen because of the hipfire and cover thing. It was basically useless in almost all situations, and if they stepped out of cover (remember its an HA not a MAX) the unit was dead in a few seconds. Currently the MCG isn't worst one its actually the best you just gotta make sure you have it spun up before you go around a corner.

I've seen shoulder-mounted miniguns work in other games(Star Wars Battlefront 2), and that would honestly solve many of the problems, as well as having the potential to actually look better than the hip-fired one(not likely, <3 my hip-fired MCG, but possible).

I like the new MCG, however I would love to see a side graded underslung MCG. I could deal with occasionally shooting handrails and boxes if the trade off was eliminating the barrell spin up time. You may be a little limited fighting around cover, but you would be a beast in a open room.

well if we have to keep it as is (as in the firing mechanic) can we at least have it redesigned so it doesn't look like an industrial cake mixer, I swear the TR get the shaft when it comes to there most iconic items, first the Prowler is slapped with not only the ugly stick but also the stupid cannons off to one side stick and the now the MCG.

Honestly I fear for how the Marauder will turn out given the trend

from

to this most likely

You are proving my point.. this thread you created is about the MCG. Not Graphics settings.

You could, but then you would probably be wrong about most of them.

even though im ps2 fan, i must admit that all the weapon designs are horrible.
maybe except the maxes they are ok. But all of them looks like plastic dont feel the weight for them and the sounds are mega crap, sorry to say. i actually changed to NC from TR because the tr gounds sounds like a plastic stick.
NC gun sounds slightly better, but all the unlocked guns sounds the same. As for the designs just horrible, idont know where they get the idea from. There are lot of good references like The Fifth Element movie, best scifi guns designs in this movie. please watch the movie and take notes how to design cool scifi guns. PS the mcg is just terrible. This is the only thing that you could just copy paste from ps1. i only played TR in ps1 because of this gun and the sound lol

It is unfortunate they switched the model. Not game breaking though, still lovin ps2. Balance wise it still kicks the piss out of the JH or Lasher.
