Nighthawk: Slug ammunition and scopes lol?

As usual, the description doesn't say anything. Anyone have the lowdown on what slug ammunition does?

And why are there even scope choices for this gun? Lol, I'll buy a 4x scope for a shotgun.

Under normal circumstances (and common sense) I would be satisfied with a real world wiki. But here, no.

Slug round turns it into a semi-automatic rifle.
Basically, instead of pellets, its a single slug.
This goes with the scopes.

Seeing how normal shotguns are getting slugs. Will NC MAXes get slugs as well?

That shotgun on the MAX is pure power indoors but can't do a damned thing outside. It's getting so stuffy indoors, I need my vitamin D.

I guess that makes sense, but really, a 4x scope? Has anyone actually tried out this combo? I think I'll try it out, lol, on my one character that has the the shotgun just for kicks.

I hope they greatly expand the descriptions upon release.

They nerfed slug ammo quite a bit. It used to have no cone of fire, but now it rightfully has spread. You still have to land 2-3 body shots to kill someone, so I don't see any point to slug ammo unless you intend on headshotting everyone with it (which is now hard with the COF nerf).
