AMD has been discriminated against in the development of Planetside 2 as proof in interviews has shown that Nvidia has deeply invested in the game to sell chips.
So, if you either have an AMD cpu, OR GPU...you are boned sir. No matter what. A dual core i3 with a semi decent Nvidia card (lets say 512mb) will beat the snot out of my quad core phenom 2 with Radeon 512mb equivalent. I get 20-30 fps on my laptop, tanking down to 8-10 in a bad zerg. Dollars to your donuts that the i3 with Nvidia card does better. |
