(Sorry about the necro, better than starting a new thread on it I suppose)
I got the non-Ti version of the 660 and the thing is amazing. It pushes 50 FPS in moderate battles on maxed out settings. I can't even hear the fan of the card, unlike my old 460 which sounded like a jet engine. I'm throwing every game I have at the 660 but nothing ever dips below 30 FPS on maxed settings.

Both the versions are good cards. If you don't need the extra horse power a 660 should be plenty for what you need. I downgraded from a 7950 to 7850 1GB. I don't really even notice the performance difference between the two. Then again I'm not playing BF3 max settings or Crysis 2 w/ max mods.
