Hey all!
Long time lurker but short time poster lol! I just wanted to weigh in on a topic that I've seen a couple post about the lack of Spec Ops opportunities. I will have to respectfully disagree on the general attitude that Spec Ops is dead in PS2. My outfit has a 7 man Spec Ops squad that runs every night. Their missions have made it possible for our Air and Armor and even our Infantry to operate in an area they would not have been able to other wise. These are some professional crazy lads! LOL it's fun to listen to their calm communication and teamwork on TS but see them doing some insane, "get yourself killed" kind of things in game. So don't give up on Spec Ops. While I can't give away our tactics I will challenge you other Spec Ops forces to think outside the box. Maybe there needs to be a forum where only Spec Ops type squads and leadership can meet and share ideas. Hmmmm.... Scorpion Six Sunder Military Gaming Ghost Squad |

Just transfer to Matherson Hiro! We could use the help!
As far as the "blowing all gens in sight" from the above post. We DO do some of that but there is more to disruption of enemy capabilities than that. On top of that we do are own insertions and extractions. I dont believe in suicide missions. We insert and we mark and extraction point so my guys get in, do their job and get out. OH and I time them! lol. There is a 2 week long training and gearing up phase before a new Candidate is allowed to put on our Spec Ops patch and that is only after he has performed his duties in a Command Demonstration and has had his training certified.
