Hello, I have only 20-30 FPS in average battles with this performance:
Intel i7-3610QM 2.3Ghz Geforce M 660 GTX 12 Gb RAM I have read a lot of guides and tried alot of UserOptions settings but in average fights i got only around 25 FPS even with low settings or ultra (without shadows and other stuff). :!: It's hard to play with 25 FPS so I need at least 40 FPS to play smoothly. Is it possible that temperature blocking my FPS? My CPU temperature during the game is around 90 degrees celsius. And thats alot! So I thought maybe I should buy cooling pad for my laptop and then unpark my cores. Would this help me get more FPS? What you suggest me to do? I need your help. :?: (Sorry for bad english i'm from Slovenia and i can't really speak english very good) THANKS! |

TBH, that sounds about right for FPS with an Ivy Bridge CPU running at 2.3-3ghz
Unparking cores should do nothing if your Windows is up-to-date. A cooling pad may help, but only if your system is thermally-throttling itself. Use CPU-Z to try and monitor what speed your CPU is running at while in the game.

Cooling pad will be of help to you. The core unpark thing is something a lot of trigger happy folks suggest - they found a knob and they will turn it no matter if it actually does anything. On a fully updated windows system running a properly written piece of code, unparking your cores does absolutely nothing.
You might also find some compressed air and be sure to blow through the vents to get any dust out and enable maximum airflow. I do recommend you go into the NVidia control panel and change your pre-rendered frames from default 3 down to 1. It wont add any frames to you, but it WILL reduce input lag and make the game feel much more responsive at 25 FPS than it was before.
