Outfit Member Online Status, API call to fetch online only?

Hello fellow nerds

I made a thingy to do online status of our outfit for our webpage, but it i'snt exactly resource friendly.

To be so, would be a call to only fetch the outfit members that is currently online.

I have tried various combinations to do a query for em, but each of the cases got a result that it is not a valid search query.

Iwould like to know if it is at all possible to do such a query, if its not then i won't bother researching it further. But if it is am taking any hinters with open arms, or even a call you can mange to give the requested data.

Right now the only way that i have seen to relax on the resources it takes is to have it use the jquery and refreash that way and only pull the online status and hide the other information ...

basically have the clients do the filtering instead of the server? i been doing this in php which is ofc serverside, not sure im a fan of such an approach though

yup that is y I left it in java so they deal with load server does not But that is your call anyways just a idea

Think i will continue to have what i have then, i do have a 5 minute serverside cache on it, so its not that terribly heavy on the server, not that we have many visitors anyways..
