- they are sending the restaurant menu to me as soon as they figure out how to attach a file to an email.

So keep nagging your parents, kids, because this is going to own.
I dont care if theres a bad interweb connection, the only reason Id use it is to post on PSU, and I doubt Ill be doing that on the trip.

Yeah but with the itinerary I'm planning, you guys won't really care about not being able to access email or PSU.

Besides, all the big posters will be sharing a hotel room with you

Will we be assigned rooms? Or do I get to pick my roommates?

Good point. It sounds to me like the costs are calculated on one person one room.

Yall might be able to save some more money

Mani, you get to choose your roommates....

Well, YOU do at least. I'm gonna Nazi-Assign everyone else

EDIT: Gohan, the hotel costs are calculated like this:

$239/night + 11.5% tax = $267 x 3 (nights) = $801 x 4 (suites) = $3204 total

$3204 divided by 30 (people) = $110/person

Did some searching of tourist reviews, found this quick summary:
  • Garlic Bread
  • Fresh Vegetable Soup
  • Spare Ribs
  • Roasted Chicken
  • Herb-Basted Potato
  • Pastry of the Castle
  • Drinks
Beer, wine, soda, coffee and tea

"The unlimited banquet feast includes a pizza brochette appetizer, vegetable soup, roasted chicken, spare ribs, potatoes and pastry dessert served by "serfs" and "wenches." In true medieval style, silverware is not used. LOL. Priceless. Meals are individually pre-plated here. Hot or cold vegetable platters may be substituted if requested in advance. Two rounds of sangria, beer, soda, coffee and tea are included with the meal price. Additional beverages cost extra. "

Gohan, I dunno if you saw my edit to my earlier post about hotel prices.

Mani, like my mom always said, "You are who you're friends with" - so my awesomeness is in direct proportion to everyone on PSU's!

Okay, my next task is to select 7 elite roommates. I require the following standards to be met to qualify:
  1. No snoring.
  2. Early riser(s).
  3. Can make a good pot of coffee.
  4. Non-smoking.
  5. Can press clothes. (haha j/k)
Depending on the number of people Triggar assigns to a room, I will be accepting applications for my roommate positions. Interviews to be conducted on a first-come first-served basis.

Mani, we're ALL going to have to be up pretty early, since the hotel restaurant (where I plan on having breakfast) serves until 11am, and the itinerary says we'll be on our way to the park at 10am!

And I hope that no one who comes will be smoking on this trip, and if they do, they can take it outside! It's Florida, so that whole "it's cold out!" excuse won't cut it!

EDIT: I've reserved four suites, sleeping eight people per suite. The plan is to have one Event Admin per room with chaperones distributed evenly. I hope to eventually "assign" people to each Admin for the sake of keeping everyone in check and accounted for!
