Delays happen yes. That's why you don't give a damn date. you say Soon™ and surprise people with a email in their inbox. It's a win win. Look at what happened: You hinted at maybe june... nope, BEFORE august for sure, well don't you look silly now that july is over! Don't give dates unless you are 200% sure to keep them. It's your decision to delay currently. The game is good enough for tech test so that means it's playable. We've seen the streams.

Also, saying we can't get in because of polish is just annoying. I wouldn't register for beta if i didn't want to see the evolution from buggy to polished. I want to participate in the bug hunt. But i guess that just won't happen. By the time they let us in... there won't be much to find.

It's cool though. I still love the devs very much, they are awesome. Smedley however is draining my hype with all his useless tweets that give me false hope. Stop giving dates. Send us a email when your really ready. Tramel and Matt seem to be wiser on that front, they did it once at E3 and then stopped entirely. Smedley keeps doing it.

Chatting us up about this and that on twitter and the forum is awesome though, that i like. Keep it up.

No dates = No delays = No disappointments = Hype staying strong.

PS1 vets are used to waiting around. I mean, that's what we do. We fight half the time and the other half we spend waiting 15 minutes for a base to flip.

thankfully my life isn't centered around video games so I don't mind the delays much. It'll start when it starts and I've learned enough from my 5 years of gaming to not trust any dates provided by a game company. I hope nobody took time off work to play the beta when it was 'announced'.

Are you kidding? I signed up for the Firefall beta in 2010, waited patiently, and still haven't gotten into it. Of course, from what I read fairly recently, they apparently select people based on how much they spam up the Firefall forums, and I was unable to access them until a month or two ago, and haven't posted much of anything as I haven't even seen the game, and aren't really all that thrilled about it (I don't remember anything much about it now as it has been so long).

(In the meantime, World of Tanks went into beta, and then was released to the public)

Actually i got in just by registering. It's not bad a game. Has potential.

the ban policy of PSU was always very forgiving. maybe it´s really time to change a little bit!

those guys who rant at the devs an a very inpolite manner (especially privates who never wrote any positive things on here) should get ONE warning via pm to stop this behaviour. and after this, unleash the basti on them! or hamma or goku

by the way, what happened to firefly? i haven´t noticed any crusades against stupidity for some time now... he was quite effective against stupid morons. and very entertaining, too. i hope he didn´t give up on this hopeless war?

Remember when they merged markov and emerald. It was supposed to be at like 1pm. Well it finally came up around 11pm...fun times.
