In other news, Archlord is still rising several hundred votes every 30min cycle, but if i ignore that, we are more or less stagnating compared to Firefall.

I hope it doesn't get disqualified.
Imagine if someone put OUR name into a botnet to get us disqualified...
But the cheat votes have to go. There is no way this is legitimate, it's rising way too consistently for that.

And we are still mostly standing still comopared to Firefall. Inching back and forth slightly. Repulse is still in a decline

Someone from the Firefall forum got this reply on the issue:

About your doubt, we provide two methods for publishers promotion usage. One is the game feature page like Archlord X http://event.mmosite.com/gameprize/?...cid=25&gid=223, the other is a short of Javascript code. They can use just one or both these two methods to promote. For feature page, people have to come here to vote, or directly go to the category list to vote. If they use Javascript code to vote, people don't need to jump to the vote page http://event.mmosite.com/gameprize/?...cid=25&gid=223, the Javascript program allows to click once to vote directly, and after successfully voted, each catogory the game is competing for will automatically add up 1 vote. So that's why the Archlord X feature page gets only 4493 clicks, but have 30,000+ votes. The 30,000+ votes are the total amount of all categories, including the votes for Most Anticipated MMO, Best F2P MMO and Best PVP MMORPG category.

After investigating and discussing, we decided to delete all votes in the date of Nov. 30th for Archlord X. We will inform Webzen about this problem first, and take action on it.

so if archlord x is still in alpha, why is it even in the list for "best f2p" while planetside 2 is not?

and why is ps2 not listed in best mmofps as well?
after all, the games listed there are not even massive multiplayer, so planetside 1, 2 and maybe global agenda should be the only games there.

Only for Archlord, as far as I gathered (Though they still didn't, I guess they are still talking to Webzen)

As for the legitimate participants, Firefall has been 1250 votes ahead of us for the last several hours. It looks like our steam has run out, but surely we can do better than this!

We got more votes at the same time yesterday, so get on it everyone

(Interestingly, our votes per 30 min chart is almost the reverse of yesterday's)

so what do we have to do to get planetside 2 into "best gameplay" and "best mmofps" categorys to be able to vote for all categorys with such a 1 click java script as well?

i guess we will not make first place in those categorys, but top ten at least. and it would spread the word about the game a little more.

We wont get them into those categorys. The nominations are done, and the reasons why we are not in there are simple:

1. Firefall has posted more specifics about their F2P model
2. Firefall has posted a lot more gameplay stuff and information.

Firefall is simply a few month ahead of planetside 2.

But obviously, we will have billions of votes in Best MMOFPS and best F2P.

It's good they are stepping up and doing the right thing and voiding those votes. It wasn't very fair to us or FireFall fans. I guess there was enough rabble rabble for them to notice.

On a sidenote: I liked the friendly tone with the Firefall fanbase after they have made their "Alert! Alert! This is not an exercise..." post! I think a lot of them will keep an eye on PS2 - and they will serve as cannon-fodders around the start.

We should make sure that the friendly tone between the two games will remain! We can work hard to persuade strangers - or we can make friends and ask them kindly to contribute... (I hope we haven't ruined it already, haven't checked their forums yet...)
