This to me spells trouble. Not things are going great, but hey let's get it even better. His even more "awesome" quote is just PR cover to me for "Oh God, this is harder than we thought!"

Well, I take what Smed says at face value, and take the "NDA leaks" as rumor because, well, they can't exactly post proof of those problems, now can they? It's like people saying they got an invite on this very forum. Can't really take them at face value as actually being in the tests.

It's all moot in a week. Whether or not they're fixing major issues, or adding new $#!%, we'll never know the difference come friday, monday, or whatever date another potential delay might have us wait until. With no prior experience, and only the word of tech testers to go on, it's all brand new to us anyway.

Sorry, expressed myself poorly, i meant they should open/flag tech-test op for vets, vet is not interested giving PS2 a bad reputation, and can live with the bugs ect, but dying to get hands on it.

Perhaps this is going the same way Darkfall online is. Soon™. All you darkfallers would know what with Tasos and his endless promises. If this type of thing happens with dates not being followed,you can be sure it will happen again.

PS2 has me just as hyped as I was for DFO. I remember playing the refresh minigame just to be able to buy it when it was finally released. My goodness was that a nightmare.

However I have more faith/patience with SOE at this point. Remember when DFO devs thought it would be a good idea to make US users buy the game again if they were playing on EU servers. (if you weren't playing during the time they had server transfers for like 2 weeks) I immediately said fuck them and never played that game again.

I'm fairly new to PS but I will be just fine with waiting for SOE to hammer out whatever issues are causing the delays. This is the type of game I have been waiting for for a loooonnnngg ass time, regardless if i wasn't familiar with the franchise 6 months ago. This has everything I want in a game.

Well I for one quit camping the PS2 forums and started playing Day Z with a group and have never felt happier. Guess the Beta will release when they are ready, hopefully next week.

You know they haven't given us for certain beta dates this entire time because it would piss people off if everything didn't go perfectly as planned.

Then the CEO of SOE was nice enough to give us a "Beta likely going to start". Then they have some unforeseen issues and you all get bent out of shape. Just putting aside all of the extremely hard work, weekends, and ridicules hours they have been putting in for us. Not to mention the most DEV interaction I have EVER seen. This wasn't even an official announcement let alone promise. Just a "likely".

This game is going to be badass but not by tomorrow. This definetly isn't because of lack of effort on their part so cut them some slack.
