As they say, find and follow the Zerg. Providing you have a "grunt" rather than "support" type character you will get XP faster if you solo.. you just need to stay with that zerg or (preferably) just ahead of it.
The sooner they change the XP system the better, at the moment it's killing the game. Tag along with the zerg, and gain thousands of XP for doing nothing. Spend hours on a desperate defense and you get bugger all. If I were you I'd forget all about it.. you'll have a lot more fun that way, and still accumulate XP at a decent enough rate. You'll never catch those at the top, so why bother trying ? Last edited by Hertston; 2003-07-02 at 04:37 PM. |

following the zerg will get you points, i wont say its the best way to get xp though. in primetime, yes, there isnt much choice. play during off peak hours and it gets much better. play in smaller squads, 2-5, goto those conts that dont normaly have huge followings. find the smaller 5-20 players per side battles. i cant say for sure where most my xp came from, but i would be surprised if i got more during prime time, then late night. there is lots of hacking/saving going on with these battles. the best part about this is gamplay seems to shine here. the MMO portion of this game is very good, but smaller battles are more intense and 1 person can make a difference. as far as support, i'm adv hack, CE, crappy ams driver. cyclor does the major portion of my kills, i dont use max, and use skeeto to get from one base to the next. (basano = worst pilot in the game)
pdox, basano, and hadeez normaly on the konreid xp board when it works |
