The new MCG

i hate people who think that im bitching because im feeling inferior

the JH isnt uber leet, but to use it u need a lot of strategy outside. its only effective up to 30m...do you KNOW how hard it is to get within 30m of a vanu outside with the lag, flying bullets, lagriders, lancer sniping, snipers, and grenades? i only use JH inside, and the only people i kill are dumbasses who think they can outgun me (and sometimes a MCG CAN outgun a JH...i was outgunned with one at 7m we just stood there and shot because i wanted to see what killed fast...the MCG won, so dont say it needed a boost because it didnt.

I agree that the MCG will never measure up to the power and brute force of the JH or the squad-dropping abilities of he *new* Lasher, but I'd still like to be able to use my own empire specific weaponry and not have to keep looting and restocking my locker.

I think the MCG could be used VERY well in the *right hands* and the *right situation* (as with ANY weapon in the game). It has its place and the trick is to find it and use it to its fullest.

Some MCG love was in order. I used one for a while. It had its moments, but there just wasn't worth the 4 cert points vs. just using a cycler. Hopefully this should fix that.

The MCG already walks all over anything inside EXCEPT other heavy assault, and MAXs.

Although, for four cert points, they do sort of deserve to be pwnage machines.
