I saw the preview of it on X-Play (TechTV) last night, and what I don't get is you can ONLY play online, and everyone is a PC?

To me that sounds absolutely terrible, both from being the commander and never having any people listen to you, and from the "grunt" side being expected to bend to the will of the commander.

The idea sounds fantastic... But I think I would only enjoy it if everything was NPC ran, and you just swapped between the commander and then could take control of a single unit.

I loved Sacrifice, I was hoping this was similar to that.

Have you played it yet Squick? Check out the demo, its pretty good, the frustration you speak of does happen sometimes from what I've see, and read on the forums, but for the most part its all been very forgiving both ways. I suppose the fact that its still new may have somthing to do with that, it may change.
