Having sigs and avatars in posts in no way affects the ability of people to discuss the game. In fact it has nothing to do with people discussing the game. You're post is irrelevant. GG, but I'm afraid you lose.

Unlike the creator of this cluster fuck of stupidity in the guise of a thread, sigs and avatars also actually serve a useful purpose. For example, I don't recognize you. Know why? No sig and no avatar. Visual recognition is very important for many people and sigs and avatars help diffrentiate between members as well as helping to seperate posts.

Very true. Its easier to scan through a thread and instaltly recognise the pics than the little white text that is the same colour as the rest of the forum text.
I tend to just use variations in colour of this sig. That way people from my gaming comunity know me when they see me. (and also because im too lazy to make a new one)
(The variation in colour is to fit in with the forum's colour scheme a bit more.)

Signatures definitely add to the forum experience. I can't count how many clever links, cool pictures and cool quotes I've seen in sigs. If I had some creativity I would make one too.

That's the point. A thread trying to slam someone about how unoriginal said person is because they've used pictures they've found on the internet is asstarded. The fact that the gripe was posted in the game discussion forums is even dumber. If anything this should be iun The Lounge, although ideally it never would have been created.

The comment about his sig being a basic stat sig is because criticizing someone for having an unoriginal sig when using something totally unoriginal yourself is hypocritical and overall a just just plain dumb thing to do. Hope that clears it up.

most of the people on most forums take pictures created by someone else and put there name on it. WTF gives you the right to single out one person that is doing it and flame him. Maybe some people are more creative than other....does that prevent them from being able to have a pic for a sig. do us all a favor and GO AWAY!!
