I hate voice chat. I mean, it's an excellent idea and it works really well, but I'm more annoyed by it than anything. I feel like a dork talking to people at my computer and most of the time everybody on there is talking about the football game or beer or something. I almost got kicked out of one of my outfits because they said I didn't tell them about the AMS I found. The truth is I DID, but they were too busy talking about the football game to pay attention.
Another thing is the idiots with messed up mics. The ones that have lots of static or high pitched noises and feedback, or it's so low you can't hear it or so loud it almost blows your eardrums out. I nearly quit planetside after trying to play one day when there were two numbfucks, one with the static and the other had feedback and they were just chatting on and on, driving me nuts. For anybody who wonders why i nearly quit PS, my outfit at the time required you to use ventrillo or you were booted out. In the end I just quit and switched from Vanu to TR.
