At point blank range, how do pistols stand up to the supressor in TTK?

The graph you use to show how the Gauss is "The Best MA" doesn't show why, though. What type of armor are you testing it on?

Graphs are interesting, but I've found that with PS, they don't really matter. They keep showing how the Gauss is supposed to rock at range (which it does), but with some practice, a Cycler is also a great long-range weapon (something the graphs generally don't indicate).

What shooting-style was used to get the numbers on that graph? Single shot? 3 round burst? Full-auto?

A single round at a time is the most accurate, and the pulsar can fire single rounds w/o CoF bloom faster than the gauss . . .

And heck, the Cycler can fire single rounds even faster than both of them. Repeatedly clicking the fire button on the Cycler is a tremendously good tactic, since it retains accuracy and the orginal (if not faster) rate of fire.

Where did those graphs come from? Before the Balance pass the Suppressor was far below any empire MA at any range over any time and hasnt had any buffs. This still holds true in actuall combat. Those graphs suggest that the Suppressor ownz all MA at virtually any range which we all know is laughable
