They have a contest similar to that called "War of the Roses" here in Detroit... A different channel, a talk-radio station interviewed a group of people that are hired to go on shows like that and do stunts like that. I guess the reason is they still need the person's conscent to air something like that; so they could not do it live, and the guy would NEVER give conscent to air that for any reasonable amount of money.
Kinda takes the fun out of the whole gag though :/ Squick |
