How about we make that art piece of the week, instead of sig of the weel? I don't do many sigs anymore, now that i have Malvision and a DeviantArt account, i have better vents for my artistic ideas. Although it doesn't neccesarily mean that you can't submit sigs as a piece.

but i can think of 3 particular reasons why Hamma would not turn it into one..

1) more threads and might pose bandwidth/storage increase? (not sure)
2) not planetside related at all
3) hassle of setting it up? mods for it?

these may not be legitimate at all..

2. theres multiple threads here not PS related.
3. a bit of a hassle, but not much. i dont think finding mods would be a problem. Heck, i and many others would do it in a heartbeat.

the number one issue i thought was bandwidth/space..but i really dont know how much forums take up so that is probably nothing at all..

Sure. As of now, people dont even use the test forum for testing. They use the lounge.

I think it's a good idea. I just got a Wacom pen tablet and I'm just itching to put it to use .

I'd be willing to mod for the forum too. I do quite a bit of stuff with photoshop, I know a lot about Macromedia Flash (including it's scripting language. If you say you know Flash but you don't know the scripting language, then you don't really know Flash). I also know a bit about Fireworks (excellent vector and bitmap graphics application) and I dabble in just about every aspect of web and graphics design there is to dabble in.

BTW, bandwidth won't really be an issue since people won't be hosting their images on the PSU server(s) and normal text forum posts use very little bandwidth. It wouldn't really be much hassle to make the new forum either. It takes less than 5 minutes to setup a new forum section in vBulletin.
