how are the races at charlotte and the rock? I've wanted to go to both of those tracks.

And I bet you were pissed they cut the rock's second race out this year OMA. . I'm not a fan of all this new prodigy rookie/new track reforms/kick out the old tracks. In my opinion, NASCAR was at its best in the early 90's. I don't really like all the new rookies completely blowing away the veterans. Plus there are no real rivalries anymore (Spencer doesn't race anymore so no rivalry between him and Busch). However, I am enthusiastic about the new points system, as I really thought last season was a drag with Mr. Consistency (Kenseth) winning the championship by an ungodly amount because he finishes 7th every week. This should make the races more exciting than they all ready are .

And by the way, take off air plate restrictors. If you are going to watch "stock" cars drive around in a ring for two hours, may as well have them go faster.

The gun kata treats the gun as a total weapon, each fluid position representing a maximum kill zone, inflicting maximum damage on the maximum number of opponents while keeping the defender clear of the statistically traditional trajectories of return fire. By the rote mastery of this art, your firing efficiency will rise by no less than 120%. The difference of a 63% increase to lethal proficiency makes the master of the gun katas an adversary not to be taken lightly.

If they did this, the cars would reach speeds in excess of 240 MPH I believe. Speeds that high would be extremely dangerous and would make it even easier for a car to flip or have a deadly wreck.

If you've ever seen a wreck where a car is upended, the car was probably spun out first and lost air on its rear spoiler, thus causing it to go airborne. This is all ready happens way too often, and with more speed, would happen even more.

The fastest lap ever turned in NASCAR was 212 MPH by Bill Elliot in Talledega. This was in 1987, 17 years ago. Imagine what a fully suped car, full with all the technological advancements that have happened since then could do if left unrestricted. The results of a crash at that speed would not be pretty.

Simply put, taking off the restrictor plates would make racing at Talledega and Daytona extremely hazardous to both the drivers and the fans.

So what. Tell the drivers and fans to quit being pussies. Tell Bubba to floor that bitch.

Misc Info

I'ma bigger nascar fan that all of you guys.

I watch it every weekend if its on TNT i get a friend to record it, all my t-shirts but for like 3 are nascar, half the posters in my room are nascar (the other half is baseball and linkinpark(LINKIN PARK woot!), my first nascar race was the D500 (which happened to be last feb, so its my only race), and apperantly my wallpaper on the desktop is dale earnhardt sr.

Oh and my fave tracks are Mag-Mower's least favorite......+Daytona500/Pepsi400
fav driver: 24, 8, 48

Reason why i like nascar over formula1: hard to keep track of who's in the lead (roadcourse or not, you can't see the number on the car much less the desing), if they get nicked on the side they out, they sound like bee's not muscle cars. Stockcars are easy to keep track of, they can get scratched to the roll cage and still roll over the finish line (refering to one of Dale Earnhardts top 10 with a fucked up car), they sound like bitchas.
