Yea, I've been hearing from a lot of people about lag and/or bad framerates. I don't know, SOE will have it fixed by the end of this week (hopefully).
I myself have not had any troubles whatsoever. Except of course with the new chat window thing. They should have left the LFS buttun on the right, cause now I keep pressing the LFS buttun instead of the Options. New achievement award for 1-year people. Meh! The new grid thing is a nice addition. |

i guess the problem stems because the more stuff you add, the more problems occur?
Yes i just fired up PS today, and i was happy to see a new patch. But once again, it was almost unplayable, i had such a awful fps rate, and it didn't help with my funny jumping cable connection. Oh well i guess it's time to get a new pc, one with the new amd chip socket..erm...940 something. anyway, im assured it will make PS much more beter, so i'll quit playing ps for now, but not my subscription. New patch or new pc, whatever comes first. (my bet is on the pc )

If you have problems with performance since the new patch, this thread might help you out a little.

Oh by the way Lonehunter187 iv been playing for quite a while but left for a while to play other games and when i said getting worse i ment a definate massive drop in fps after the patch, anyway i now have a gig of ram and it seems to have done the trick. On the loading times i think that sometimes its missing some bits out when it loads the cont, eg. the floor ( i went to hossin via hart and fell straight through the floor to my untimly death )

Yup. As I see it there are many people who are having similar problems. My system has enough horsepower to run with all the settings at 'High' for the most part. Some times in really huge battles I may tweak them down a little. But for the most part I maintained a good frame rate. After the patch, with all settings to ghetto, framerate is single digits.
I see there has been some official responses (of some sort) regarding the issue from the fine folks at PS. As of yet I am unable to read them because the official PS sites are blocked from my work computer. Listed as games or chat. Sigh.. Fortunately PSU is not. So if anyone would cut and paste to this or a new thread here I would be forever in debt. Thanks.

I was extremely amused at how pissed people were getting because the two Emerald VS CR5's were playing Battleship. It's not like there's a set limit to global's that can be made a day, and they were "wasting" them, and you could just turn off receive Command...
