Naw, I wasn't quite good enough to go. There was a really big skill curve once you got to about 5th. Lots of players around my skill level down to probably 20th or so. Plus I was like 13/14 back then and I don't think my parents would have let me.

It's probably an older PS2 like mine was, and my DVD drive on it died (same with the guy on the other forum). I could easily get a replacement drive, but - 1. I could pick up a second hand PS2 (with a 2 year guarentee) for the same price. 2. They're a bastard to put in because of the design of the ribbon cables, once you remove those cables, they're a bastard to put in something. 3. PS2's are real sensitive when you take them apart, if you're not real careful when you dismantle it, you'll static kill it. Damn, i'm still sad.
